unboxing: Yogi Surprise November 2014

Last month was the first ever shipment of the new and amazing subscription box, Yogi Surprise. Each month, subscribers receive a retreat in a box as well as a chance to win a real retreat to a different destination each month. This month, one lucky subscriber will win a trip to the Kalani Ocean Retreat in Hawaii. I sure as heck would love to win, but even though I probably won't, I still love my box this month. Let's dig in!

Yogi Surprise
November 2014
unboxing

Cost: $44.95 + free S&H. I had a code for 20% the life of my subscription, so I actually paid $35.96.

My box shipped on November 6th via USPS Priority 2-Day Mail, and I received it today, which indeed would be a two-day shipping time!

At first look, I'm seeing a lot of cheerful fall orange hues, and I'm super excited!

This looks to be a really good assortment of items this month.

I think it's neat that these are made in Portland, Oregon, which is where Yogi Surprise is located. They both smell soo good, especially the spray which smells happy, like bright citrussy candies.

Hurraw! Vata Lip Balm Full size 4.3 g value $4.29

I'm already a big fan of Hurraw! and Schmidt's, but this Golden Earth oil I've never heard of. I couldn't find this exact one on their website, but I really like it; refreshing peppermint infused with yellow calcite crystals, how cool is that?

Earthling Organics Heirloom Cacao Rawnola Bar Single 1 oz bar value $2.49
Sencha Tropical Mango Green Tea Mints 35 mint eco-tube value $2.95

I love everything here! I've tried lavender-infused chocolates before and didn't like them, but these nuts are good.. and gone! The texture of this tasty bar is incredible, crispy but not crunchy if that makes sense. And I already love Sencha so I'm loving these mints.

Jo-Sha Individually Sealed Essential Oil Wipes in Eucalyptus, Tangerine, Peppermint and Lavender, value $0.75 each = $3.00

Yogi Surprise didn't include these wipes on their info card, but refer to them as bonus surprise items. I do love surprises and know these will be used on my yoga mat :).

Altogether, the retail value of Yogi Surprise's second box is $62.89, which is more than last month's box! The only sort-of complaint that I have is that Yogi Surprise released a spoiler last month on Facebook saying that this box would include a $30 tiger's eye mala bead necklace, but.. no mala beads in my box, and I didn't get the card either that some subscribers received explaining that the beads didn't make it in time and would be in the December box instead. Oh well, I understand that obstacles come up sometimes and I'm still very happy with what I did receive. Good job, Yogi Surprise, I look forward to watching you grow as a company over the coming months :).
