too excited tuesday: My Wishlist!

Hi there! I was hoping I would see you again! You're just in time to join me for my first edition of Too Excited Tuesday, a day for me to write about new products I am excited about, my wishlists for products I am desperate to get my hands on, etc!

Now, honestly, not much stays on my wish list for very long because my eBay store brings plenty of products into my hands, but I will keep it simple and sweet with you today by sharing with you five items that are on my wishlist right now!

They are numbered one through five, but I want them fairly equally so number doesn't indicate level of interest :)

1. May Lindstrom The Jasmine Garden Botanical Mist

It's a toner! It's aromatherapy! It's May Lindstrom's latest creation, The Jasmine Garden and I cannot believe I haven't come across one yet! You see, May's products are gorgeous,  pricey, and not something I regularly am able to stock, sadly for me :(.

2. Meow Meow Tweet Frankincense + Flowers Body Oil

I lurve me some MMT, and their body oil is quite a lovely product :). Frankincense + Flowers is a newly released scent, and I already have plans for ordering some very soon!

3. W3ll People Bio Brightener Stick

I own the newish Bio Mascara, Bio Extreme Lip Gloss, and even a sample of the Bio Brightening powder, but still no Bio Brightener Stick! I suppose I am a little hesitant since I own a stick of Universalist 2, which seems to be just the old name for this newly repackaged product, but the new packaging IS rather irresistible!

4. Tata Harper Volumizing Lip and Cheek Tints

These new little beauties are available in three shades of Very Sweet, Very Vivacious and Very Charming. I Very Much want to try them all!

5. Widu The Large Modern Oval Brush

This isn't new or even newish like most of the items on my wishlist, but I just recently bought a mini colored Widu brush. The wooden bristles are soo great, and I am itching to find an excuse to purchase me a $60 full size Widu!

Soon, soon, I hope to get my hands on these items soon! These are the things I'm currently too excited about, but I am also excited for something else. For tomorrow, when my week-long blogging madness continues :)!

unboxing: R. L. Linden & Co. Limited Edition Autumn Seasonal Box 2014

As as eBay store owner, I send out a lot of packages. I also receive many packages, too. My postman and I are on a first-name basis ;).

One type of package I regularly receive are several subscription boxes, and as part of my new blogging style, I want to start sharing unboxing posts. Today, for my first unboxing, I am sharing a box that is a one-time purchase by season, but is one of the boxes that I have begun to look forward to the most from an amazing Denver-based green beauty duo..

makeup monday: What's In My Bag!

Welcome to the first edition of eco Beauty all yours Makeup Monday!!!

I love makeup.

I love to buy it, wear it, hoard it, sell it. I love to write about it! Makeup Mondays are going to be fun days for me to write about a new makeup look I'm loving, a mascara I've recently discovered that doesn't flake, etc! Today, since it's the first Makeup Monday and all, I want to do a simple, special post and show you what's currently being toted around in my very own makeup bag.

And yes, I do regularly read the brilliant blog No More Dirty Looks, which is what inspired me to do this post :).

(Is my current fave makeup brand too obvious?)

THE BAG: Is this not the cutest bag ever?? I got it in my July Fair Treasure subscription box (one of several I subscribe to, and yes I intend to start doing unboxing posts!). It's a fair trade creation from Zen Zen that was handmade in India using palm fronds. Love :).

Acure
Dark Chocolate + Mint Argan Oil Lip Balm: Tingly, minty and smooth, this lip balm is awesome.

Alima Pure
Lip Tint in Savannah: I love this chocolatey delicious lip tint. This one happened to make it into my makeup bag after it was meant for my eBay store, but my boston terrier decided to have a chew on the outside. Still perfect inside, but not fit for sale! Mine now :)

Kaia Naturals
Juicy Bamboo Natural Facial Cleansing Cloths: I keep a few of these super lush, super effective individually sealed cloths in my bag because, you know, just in case!

Meow Meow Tweet
Vegan Lip Balm in Tangerine Lime: A girl can never have too many lip balms. A girl can never have too many of MMT's amazing vegan lip balms! I have one in cocoa, too. Best. Lip balms. Ever.

Tsi-La
Fiori D'Arancio Perfume Oil: This is my amazing citrus-y, floral signature scent and I love it! It doesn't last long, about four hours, so I like to keep this nifty rollerball with me for touch-ups and de-stress aromatherapy moments.

True Lime
Crystalized Lime Packets: I try and try and try to drink more water, I really do! But truth is, I like my drinks to have some flavor. Enter True Lime packets, so much more convenient that toting around lime juice.

W3LL People
Bio Extreme Lip Gloss in Natural: I've been carrying around this lovely, nourishing lipgloss since it's release a few months ago. It's supposed to smell like peppermint, but to me it smells like Wrigley's cinnamon flavored gum, Big Red.
Expressionist Bio Extreme Mascara: This mascara is awesome! No clumps, just beautiful, long, fluffy eyelashes.
Narcissist 0 Foundation + Concealer Stick: I use this under my eyes and on blemishes, and it is just so darn nifty, not to mention fun to use.
Universalist 1 Creamy Pink Multi-Use Color Stick: Another nifty stick, and such a pretty color, too. It's been likened to cult-classic Nars Orgasm.

Yogi
Vanilla Spice Perfect Energy Tea Sachet: I am a big tea drinker; love tea! Much as I love online shopping, I love Yogi tea because it's accessible to buy at my local grocery store, plus this one tastes really great!

So there you have it! My current makeup bag :). It does change regularly, so maybe I'll do another post like this someday in the future. Thanks for tuning in to my first real post for my newly revamped blog. I'm also working on another super special post that I should have up this evening! Two post in one day, I know!! I must be feeling motivated ;) See you later?!

time for a change

If you've visited me here before, you may be wondering where all the previous posts went.

It is time for a change, so I deleted them.

I was 86 posts in and writing review after review until everything was starting to look the same. While I was writing that 87th post I realized I was bored.

Bored with what I was writing, bored with this blog as it was.

So here I am again, back at square one with nothing but beautiful blank entries just waiting to be filled with typing.

My plan is to write when I feel like it, but to still have a structure I follow (yeah, I'm OCD like that). I'm still going to write reviews of great green products, but I want to write about my other interests in healthcare, fitness, subscription boxes, parenting and life in general, too.

One week from tomorrow, I'm going to start a week-long crash course of posts that will give you an idea of the direction I am headed with this blog.

I hope to see you there :)
