unboxing: R. L. Linden & Co. Limited Edition Autumn Seasonal Box 2014

As as eBay store owner, I send out a lot of packages. I also receive many packages, too. My postman and I are on a first-name basis ;).

One type of package I regularly receive are several subscription boxes, and as part of my new blogging style, I want to start sharing unboxing posts. Today, for my first unboxing, I am sharing a box that is a one-time purchase by season, but is one of the boxes that I have begun to look forward to the most from an amazing Denver-based green beauty duo..

R. L. Linden & Co.
Limited Edition Autumn Seasonal Box 2014
unboxing
Get ready for lots of pics!

Cost: This box costs $48. Prices vary per box; for example, the summer box (which I also ordered and loved) was $65.

This is the box stock photo as pictured on R. L. Linden & Co.'s website..

..and here is my box I somehow restrained myself from ripping into immediately in order to snap a pic!

First look: so lovingly, carefully and colorfully packaged! It included an informational printout. To read it in it's entirety, which includes full product descriptions, ingredients,  and a syrup recipe, click here.

Here they are! Four amazing limited edition products!

Rest Your Bones Bath Soak

There are so many scents combined here, and yet they work so perfectly together! Soothing lavender, woodsy pines, spicy ginger and arnica, florals and fruits! Plus, juniper and more juniper with lots of dried juniper berries in this textured bath soak. Love, love, love this in my tub and over my softened, fragranced body!

L: Lavender + Frankincense Cuticle Oil
R: Ritual No. 2 Perfume Oil

Earthy frankincense is not usually my favorite of scents, but combined in this cuticle oil with fresh lavender and I can't stop sniffing my lovely softened fingertips! This thick oil keeps my tips moisturized for hooours on end! It can also be used to tame fly-away hair, but my hair is too baby fine for oils, or this would be the one I reach for!

This perfume oil is the second in R. L. Linden & Co.'s scent line, hence the label "No. 2". I loved the first scent, but I LOVE this one! It starts out really spicy and chocolatey,  a gourmand dream, then as it warms on the skin the bitter almond note becomes more pronounced. The chocolate / cacao endures the entire 4-5 hour life of the scent even as the spiciness fades to sweet. I love this perfume so much that I hated wasting even that one drop for the above pic, but I wanted to demonstrate the natural quality of the perfume, that the ingredients separate and need mixing before use.

Auntie Elder's Immune Brew

This can be made into a tea or a syrup (as described in that letter I linked).

As a tea, this is soo delicious! It tasted of the cinnamon bark ingredient and fruits thanks to the orange peel and whole, dried juniper berries. It is warming, fragrant, and hopefully really will help boost this nurse's weak immune system. Seriously, it is a week into fall and I've already caught one nasty cold from work :/.

Making this into a syrup was really quite simple, and fragranced my home with warm, delicious cinnamon!  I sweetened mine with raw honey :). Robin and Lynn don't include how to use it, but so far I've tasted some like an elixir (delicious!) and mixed into black tea (double delicious!).

I seriously stalked the tracking number for this package, eager for it to arrive, and it did not disappoint!  I just checked, and this box is still available for sale on the brand's website! You NEED this, so go buy one before I decide I need a second one, because these are LIMITED!!!
