unboxing: Beauty Box 5 Limited Edition Eco Chic Box

Beauty Box 5 is not one of my monthly subscription boxes, but when I heard about their Limited Edition Eco Chic Box, I was interested and ordered one. I ordered on the 26th of September and it shipped on October 3rd via USPS Global Mail. I received it today.

Beauty Box 5
Limited Edition Eco Chic Box
unboxing

Cost: $39 + $5 for shipping, with a promised value of over $100.

At first, I had no clue who this box was from. I wasn't expecting any boxes this big, plus the return address simply says "Shipping Department". However, after a moment I recognized the tracking number and made sure to take unboxing pics.

Turns out, it was a box inside of a box, and the inner box was over-stuffed and overflowing, and I was super curious.

Not much of a first look, but the info card is nice.

There was dust all over my package from a spill of my cleansing grains. Not a lot was lost, but by this time I feel like not a lot of care was taken with packaging.

The mess was easy enough to clean up, and I was still curious and interested.

Rustic Maka Pachy Deodorant in Wild Meadows Full Size 3.2 oz value $8.95

I've never heard of [re]Fresh before, but I do like to exfoliate so I'm interested to see if a pre-peel cleanser will make a difference. I already like this deodorant because it is natural, in stick form, and smells fresh and lovely. Hopefully it works well, too!

3Girls Holistic Cleansing Grains Full Size 3 oz value $22
Would You Lather? Sugar Lip Scrub Full Size 0.5 oz value $7

This jar of cleansing grains is what created the mess, but of course I'm still super interested in trying it because I love powder-to-pastes. I feel like they can be kept longer and are more cost-efficient since there is no water added. This lip scrub smells amazing! It smells like coconut and honey, and will definitely be used!

GlamNatural Mascara Full Size 0.25 oz value $28
Dancin' Goat Mambo Mint Lip Balm Full Size 0.15 oz value $3.99

I've had several minis of this mascara float through my store, but never tried one so I guess now is the time! This lip-balm holder is cute and well-made, though I wouldn't necessarily pay $16 for it. Technically I didn't, so I'm happy to have it. This lip balm smells nice and minty, and lip balm is one thing I can never have enough of!

All totaled up, this box has a retail value of $107.89, so it definitely met it's promise of a $100 value, plus there were some coupons included. I love that everything is full size! The spill was just a little mishap and could happen with any package, and I'm already over it considering how much I like what all I received. I call this box a win for me!
