unboxing: Eco Emi Limited Edition Organic Food Box

Eco Emi offers two regular subscription boxes: their variety box I do not receive and a new beauty box that launched last month which I signed up too late to get, but will get November's box! They also have custom boxes available and once in awhile release a limited edition box, like the Organic Food Box I ordered.

I thought this box sounded really interesting and had to have it! It promised 9 food items, plus one special extra, centering around a fall theme.

Cost: $13.99 + free US shipping

I ordered my box on October 6th and it shipped USPS First Class on October 9th. I was impressed by that cute purple butterfly box in my mail today.

In case I forgot what I ordered, Eco Emi Printed "The Food Box" on my shipping label :).

There was no info card, and no extra packaging, but nothing was in pieces so I suppose that wasn't necessary anyway.

There are indeed nine food items and one beauty extra in this box :).

I'm not really a fan of spicy foods, but I'm willing to try this chili out! I've never heard of Amazing Meals, but the supplement facts look very nutritious and I like vanilla chai flavors, so I'll give this one a go, too.

I have tried both of this treats before and LOVED them! I'm so glad to have these and have hidden them away from the kids so I can eat them to myself!

I love healthy snack bars so I'm glad to have the moringa bar, but I've tried Soy Joy before and didn't care much for it. The Caveman cookie and almonds were DEEElicious! I want more of them and may order as the price point seems very decent.

Anna Naturals Individual Tea Bags in Cycle-Ease, Energize and Sweet Dreams These are difficult to put a value to since Anna Naturals doesn’t sell individual bags, but I'm going to estimate a value of $1.50.

These teas contain ingredients like organic strawberry and cherry extracts and smell soo good! I love tea and can't wait to try these.

Tulips Apothecary Pucker Pot in Pumpkin Pout Full Size 1 oz tin value $8

This is my beauty extra and I really like it! I've tried Tulips Apothecary Pucker Pots before and they are very softening for the lips. This one really smells like pumpkin pie, plus the little spider muslin bag it came in made me smile :).

Altogether, I estimate the retail value of this box to be $21.87. All the food items together are about equal to the cost of the box, so the lippie is a nice extra that makes the box worth it's cost to me. Overall, I'm not wowed, but I think this box is nice and will probably purchase Eco Emi's next limited edition box.
