unboxing: Petit Vour October 2014

Petit Vour is a monthly subscription box that delivers vegan, cruelty-free beauty items once a month. Brands featured aren't always completely natural, but many are. Petit Vour usually ships towards the end of the month rather than the beginning like most of my boxes, but that is completely fine with me because otherwise I wouldn't be getting any fun subscription boxes after the first few busy weeks of the month.

Cost: $15 / month + free S&H within the U.S. You can prepay, but there is no discount so I just subscribe month-by-month.

Petit Vour ships DHL Global Mail. Mine shipped this month on the 20th and was delivered by USPS yesterday (the 24th).

Packaging is always careful, lots of black curlies keeping the items safe, and the info card is cute and helpful. The theme for this month is "Beauty Thrillers", enjoying this Halloween season without worrying about spooky ingredients in our beauty products. I love that!

Pacifica Devocean Natural Lipstick in Tenderness full size 0.07 oz / 2 g value $14

Forager Botanicals Natural Eau de Perfume Sample in Nectar 1 mL value $6.25

I am so excited to have this lipstick! It's a pretty new product release, and I loove the color I got! I love this perfume sample, too. It's a warm, sweet floral and now I really want to try the other three scents in the perfume collection! 

S.W. Basics of Brooklyn Makeup Remover 1 oz / 30 mL value $10

Flo + Theo Wild Mint Body Butter Amount not indicated, I think it's 1 oz which would have a value of $7

I'm a big fan of S.W. Basics and their super simple, super awesome line of skincare! I know I'll use this makeup remover. This body butter smells fresh and minty, really good, I am sure I will need it as the weather cools.

By my estimate, this box has a retail value of $37.25. And that's actually lower than most of Petit Vour's past boxes! I for one am very happy with this box that is more than double the value of the cost and especially happy that all four items excite me to have. Good month, PV!
