Wow, I can't believe I'm now using the number "2015" on an unboxing post! And what better way to kick off a new year of subscription boxes than with one of my very favorites for connecting me with great green beauty.. Goodebox!

Goodebox always times shipping well, so that boxes arrive within the first few days of the month. My January box shipped on December 23rd via DHL Global Mail and arrived two days ago on January 2nd.

First look at Goodebox's signature pink tissue paper and logo sticker.

Second first look: I see something colorful and smell something strong!

I see some familiar green brands and a brand I had no idea  was green.

Soapbox 100% Natural Black Bar Soap full size 4 oz value $4.99

Eslor Botanical Peeling Gel 0.5 oz value $9.50

This soap bar is very strongly scented! It's not a bad smell, very clean, and the ingredients look pretty interesting! Plus, for every bar of this soap sold, one bar is given to a child in need.

I have seen Eslor around before, but had no idea that they are a green brand. This peel uses botanical extracts to exfoliate and refine, which is just my kind of product :).

This bag is handmade with sustainable, vegan materials. It is bright, cheerful, and very well made!

Earthwise Beauty Green Leaves & Co. Facial Oil amount not indicated, I'm going with 5 mL which would have a value of $5

Jillian Wright Mitoenergy Youth-Enhancing Moisturizer Again, amount not indicated, so I'm guessing 10 mL which would have a value of $19

Yes, these little samples have surprisingly high values and that is because their full size versions are pricey!

I have tried Earthwise Beauty before and loved it! This serum is a new release in December 2014 and is for acne-prone skin. My sensitive breakout-prone face definitely fits into that category so I am excited to try this!

I received a full size of this moisturizer in my recent Deluxe Holiday Goodebox, and haven't tried it yet, but with that price tag I hope it is super effective! Now I can use this sample up, and if I don't like it I will have a $95 moisturizer to impress someone with in a gift or swap!

Goodebox usually has an incredible retail value and this one is no exception, totaling up to approximately $50.49. I will use everything I received, too! This is a winning box for me and I am excited to see what the new year will bring for Goodebox!
