unboxing: Fair Trade Friday January 2015

This is my second month subscribing to Fair Trade Friday since making it off the waiting list. Fridays are already good days for me since they are my one guaranteed day of the week I won't have school or work, but now thanks to FTF, the first Friday of the month is somehow even better!

Fair Trade Friday
January 2015
unboxing
Cost: $31.99 / month + free U.S. S&H. One time purchases are available without the waiting list for $35 + S&H.

FTF is a monthly subscription box that doesn’t actually ship in a box! My padded envelope of fair trade goodies shipped on December 29th via USPS Priority Mail 2-Day and arrived three days ago on Friday, January 2nd.

Everything was tucked away in this large reusable fabric organza bag from Mercy Goods.

I love fair trade crafts, and they make me feel really good buying them. Knowing my purchase this month employed seven women feels really good:).

My market tote is a little different than the one I linked. That one has burlap handles and mine does not. $12 is the price for the one on the website as well as the price on my FTF info card, so I'm using it. Either way, I loove the print of this tote and will for sure use it!

This lanyard is so simple, yet unique and gorgeous! It is extremely sturdy, too. I don't know yet what I will use it for, but I know I will use it, too.

FTF quotes the cuff at $19, and the link I posted has it on sale for $19.99, but the original retail value is $24, so I'll use that. It's pretty, but not particularly my style..

The necklace is definitely my style, though, and I will be wearing it tomorrow and probably many days in the future!

Reusable Gift Bag by Mercy Goods value $10

My FTF info card listed the outer bag as a $10 value, and while that seems like a but much, I'll go with it I guess. As always, I received two gift tags, which I may actually use this month for the cuff bracelet.

There is a little variation this month on the prices listed online for the items I received, so my estimation may be off. The maximum retail value of my package is up to $71, and even if it is actually less than that, it is still worth far more than I paid! I love this subscription and I will be a subscriber all the way through 2015 as long FTF will have me :)!
